APPROPRIATIONS FUNDING OF $117,500 WILL PROVIDE JIM HOGG SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT WITH NEEDED FUNDS TO FIGHT DRUG TRAFFICKING

Federal funds will be used to purchase equipment for Sheriff’s Department and Constables

Today Congressman Henry Cuellar, together with Jim Hogg Sheriff Erasmo “Kiko” Alracon, announced Appropriations funding for $117,500.

The funding will be used to purchase equipment to fight drug trafficking.  The four Jim Hogg County Constables will also benefit from this allocation with $2,000 each for equipment.

 “Our law enforcement officers must have the best equipment to fight drug traffickers,” says Congressman Cuellar. “We will continue supporting our law enforcement to ensure they are equipped with the latest technology and equipment for their safety and that of Jim Hogg residents. I appreciate Sheriff Alarcon’s leadership and the work of his Deputies and Constables in providing safety for residents of Jim Hogg County.”
