LAREDO, TEXAS (KGNS) - With many schools out for the holiday this week, students are getting the chance to learn more about different service academies.

The Office of Congressman Henry Cuellar hosted a Service Academy Informational Session.

This is for high school students, parents, teachers, and counselors interested in attending one of the prestigious service academies.

The session included information about all of the academies, a presentation by Naval Academy Midshipman Eduardo Salinas and the nomination process for Congressman Cuellar's Office.
