Cuellar meets with V.A. secretary in the Valley

LAREDO, TEXAS (KGNS) - Congressman Henry Cuellar met with the head of the Department of Veterans Affairs about improving healthcarein South Texas.

The group toured the V.A. facility in Harlingen, which is part of the samenetwork as the V.A. clinic in Laredo.

They also talked to staff from the UTRGV's smart hospital and talked about upcoming plans for a new medical school in area.

The V.A. secretary also took part in an onstage conversation with South Texas veterans about their concerns affecting the region, and nationalcare.
