Congressman Henry Cuellar was joined in Zapata by some very special guests including a representative of the Navajo Nation to discuss the process behind the development of Zapata's Z-Tac facility and the opportunities it has provided to residents in the areas.

The Navajo Nation plans to replicate the success of the Z-Tac building with a similar facility in New Mexico.

Vice president Rex Lee Jim spoke about the effort he saw that went into the original facility.

"People from the area, coming together to build a building for young people, to help them get an education, to make access to quality education easier and then to use the most, make the most of technology", said Rex Lee Jim.

During the summer an average of 90 students take college courses at the Z-Tac via video conference and adjunct professors.
