WILSON COUNTY NEWS: Cuellar honors West Point prospect Isaiah Meuchelboeck

 


Isaiah Meuchelboeck of Windcrest is joined by his parents and the mayor of Wiindcrest March 30, as he receives recognition from U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar upon his acceptance into the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Cuellar provides service academy nominations for students.

Isaiah Meuchelboeck of Windcrest has been accepted into the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

In recognition, U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-TX 28, presented the San Antonio Christian School student with a Congressional Certificate of Recognition during an event March 30 at Windcrest City Hall.

Meuchelboeck was nominated to the academy by Cuellar.

“Isaiah’s exemplary test scores and his outstanding nomination application made him an ideal candidate, and one I trust will make the 28th Congressional District of Texas proud as he serves our nation,” Cuellar said. “I’m grateful for Isaiah’s commitment to our country and look forward to following his career.”

In addition to exemplary grades and test scores, Meuchelboeck has an impressive resume of extracurricular activities includeing selection into the American Legion Boys State, anchoring and reporting for KSAC News, basketball, and volunteering with the Wounded Warrior and Family Support Center through Joint Base San Antonio.
