CARE is a community-based, community driven program that builds partnerships to help the public understand and reduce toxic risks from numerous sources. “Ensuring that our community understands the dangers of toxic pollutants and accompanying dangers is an issue I take very seriously,” said Congressman Cuellar. “I congratulate the City of Laredo and the Health Department for working hard to secure this grant and making sure that our population is well aware of all the issues surrounding toxic pollutants.” “This is an issue that we can not take for granted and I will continue to work hard to secure that funds to address this concern continue making their way to the Gateway City,” Congressman Cuellar added. “This grant will be successful in our City,” said City of Laredo Mayor Raul G.
