Today, U.S. Congressman Henry Cuellar, Ph.D. (TX-28) released the following update on U.S. citizens in Israel amid the Israel/Hamas conflict:

“The State Department is continuing to chart flights out of Ben Gurion International Airport in Israel. U.S. citizens are asked to arrive at Ben Gurion Airport’s Terminal 3 tomorrow and look for U.S. Embassy personnel who will provide further instructions and assistance. Most flights will be going to Athens. A cruise ship in Haifa will also be leaving for Cyprus on Monday,” said Dr. Cuellar. “I continue to be in close, personal contact with TX-28 residents who have been stuck in Israel amid the ongoing conflict. I will continue to monitor the situation in Israel closely and ensure our folks get home safely. For more information, please use these Israel crisis response resources. If you’re in need of assistance, contact my Laredo district office at (956) 725-0639 and ask to speak with Sylvia Segovia, or email Ms. Segovia at Sylvia.Segovia@mail.house.gov.”
