Laredo, TX-- Congressman Henry Cuellar (TX-28) announced a $1 million in federal funds for water infrastructure improvements . These federal funds, passed through the Texas Department of Agriculture’s Community Development Block Grant, will be used to develop and upgrade the region’s water infrastructure. These improvements will secure safe and reliable drinking water for the residents of Mirando City.

“It is critical that our water infrastructure is safe and functioning in our communities, and across the country,” said Congressman Cuellar. “This investment will ensure that households, businesses, and industries in our city have safe, clean drinking water. As a senior member of the Appropriations Committee, I will continue to fund infrastructure projects that advance our citizens’ well-being and promote economic prosperity. I want to thank Webb County Commissioner Jesse Gonzalez for his hard work and dedication to our community.”
