Henry Cuellar speaks on upcoming Democratic debate

LAREDO, TEXAS (KGNS) - In just a few hours, Democratic candidates will come togetherhttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/lb_icon1.png for their first debate.

Here at homehttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png, Congressman Henry Cuellar says he is particularly interested in one candidate who has visited the Gateway City in the past.

Cuellar says with many topics up for discussion, he is hoping all the candidates will answer the questions to sway voters to vote Democrathttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png.

However, Cuellar says he is already backing the only woman Democrat looking to take the presidential seat.

"Quite honestly, I'm a Hillary supporter. You know where I stand. The bottom line is I think having debates in the Republican side and the Democrat side - it's good for the American public. They need to look at the different candidateshttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png. Come November, after the primaries, they need to decide", says Cuellar.

Meanwhile, the Webb County Democratic Party will be holding a Debate Watch Party at 6:30 pm at the Wings Restaurant. It is open to the public. Free foodhttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png and drinks will be provided.
