Congressman Henry Cuellar, (D-TX28) addressed the members of the Bryan-College Station, Texas Chamber of Commerce during their visit to Capitol Hill. Cuellar was invited by Congressman Flores to discuss issues including fiscal responsibility, economic development and increasing the quality of our workforce.
The Congressman focused on economic and trade issues related to commerce between Mexico and the United States, more specifically between this neighboring country and the State of Texas.

[…] We have to look at Mexico as a friend and not as enemy […] every day $1.2 billion dollars of trade passes between U.S. and Mexico. In fact, my hometown of Laredo (Texas) handles about 40 percent of all the trade between the U.S. and the Republic of Mexico.” |
