Dear Friend,
This week, I was back in Washington, D.C. to vote on several issues, including my support for a Continuing Resolution to prevent another government shutdown. I also voted in favor of a plan that authorizes the President to train and equip the moderate Syrian opposition groups so that they can combat the terrorist group known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL).
