Being an active registered voter is one of the best ways to engage in our democracy. To be eligible to vote in Texas you must be:

·         A United States citizen
·         A resident of the county
·         At least 18 years old on Election Day
·         Not convicted of a felony (if convicted, must have fully discharged the sentence or been pardoned
·         Not determined to be mentally incapacitated by a court of law
