CONGRESSMAN HENRY CUELLAR TO ANNOUNCE BENEFITS OF NEW G.I. BILL

Washington, Oct 23 - Congressman Cuellar will join local Veterans’ organizations to announce the benefits of the newly-passed G.I. Bill. Under this new bill, increased educational benefits will be available to all members of the military who have served for at least three months on active duty since September 11, 2001, including activated reservists and National Guardsmen and women. One of the key components of this bill is that military men and women who have served on active duty for three years or more would qualify for full education benefits, including the cost of a four-year education up to the level of the most expensive in-state public university
