The VA Texas Valley Costal Bend Health Care System and Congressman Henry Cuellar announced the expansion of health care services for Laredo area veterans.

The expansion consist of a partnership with doctors hospital of Laredo, meaning veterans may not have to travel out of town for hospitalservices.

"This partnership will allow them to get closer to where they live. So they don't have to travel from here it allows them to got any emergency room for doctor's hospital and we're glad to have that partnership with them", said Robert Walton of Texas Valley Costal Bend.

Prior to the local partnerships, veterans would often have to travel either to the valley- San Antonio or Corpus for hospital related services.
